Map the roles of your sales team. On the right, at the top, select the field that best describes the segmentation of your sales team. Those segments will be used to break down your forecast and other reports.
Use a field that best represents the segmentation of your sales organization. For example, if your team is organized into territories, then select the field that describes that.
Any users that you’ll leave not mapped (value “none”) will be excluded from forecast and their data will not be analyzed.
Our algorithm uses the sales teams for forecasting in multiple contexts. First, you will be able to set sales goals separately for each team. You’ll also be able to pull up a single sales team’s forecast using filters.
Our algorithm will predict the new pipeline coming from each team in the future. This will include the impact of any hiring plans you may have for each team.
